Over 35 (4) 140 Entries for our first points race of the season. We thank everyone for supporting us and we promise to not be so long next time. Enough said on that subject.

The number of classes are growing and growing. We had our first Junior Animal Champ entry and i hear there is more on the way as this class is destined to only grow and grow with the situation of the flat heads phasing out. Troy Dow had the Animal on the champ and he told me it was an awesome ride. They will get the tweaking worked out and you should see some  fast racing with this new class as the year progresses.

The open kart junior animals grew by one and I'm told to be ready to see another this next race.

Five records set!!! Five and that was on a marginal surface that was so wet at 9 am it was non drivable.

In the Aqua Sportsman Champ class it was Josh Ray, in one of the best races of the night, taking the win. Josh did not have one single feature win last season and even tho he did race well, he felt really discouraged about last season but already this  year he has let everyone know he is out to be a front runner each week.

Cody Burks had his 2005 mini sprint out to take a few laps  and he also ran in the Jr2 class just for old times sake??...Well he won yet another exciting race.

The night was full of odd happenings and some of the classes seemed to be just a click off their usual pace. Our Survivor Series race was one awesome race when it finally got under way. It took a long time to get passed the first few laps but after it got under way  it was awesome.  Mark Pasino took the checker flag but was disqualified for being one pound light. It was a totally hard fought for race and in the end it was Josh Boaz who was awarded the win.

It was a double win for the Prewitt's as Lindsey took the Purple Sportsman Champ win and younger brother Matthew took the Novice Champ win.

If you didn't get a chance to be here, you probably can say you got to bed on time, but I will tell you, good sleep or not, you missed some awesome runs by the mid south's finest kart racers.
