We had a LOT of new faces and met some new awesome people and we thank everyone for coming out to our last day race of the spring.  I am looking forward to getting back to our later schedule, but I hope we don't give up the awesome racing like we had this night when we go back to our night times.

Did we have some problems? Sure we did but in the end the features went, for the most part, flawless and exciting.

Joey Lunati took a nasty spill in the Jr-2 feature, but EMPACT techs were there fast and in no time had him checked out and he was on his way to a third place pay out for the evening.

What about the awesome Aqua Sportsman Champ feature??? 15 entries and NO cautions and taking his first ever feature win at ARP was Dylan Crawford driving the 1C. The crowd was going wild as this young man drove his heart out to take this win.

In our Survivor race, it was David Harkness by just under a half a second over Justin carver to take the victory. David's teammate, Ricky Graham, was riding right up in the top three the entire race until the last few laps when he ran short of fuel, but Graham still managed to turn the fastest time in the entire race.

Jake Tucker took his first ever feature win in the Senior Champ class and right behind him in second  place was a determined Jeffery Keltner taking a very deserving second place finish.

In our Novice Junior class, Dylan Middleton leading the last lap was surprised by a passing move in turn 4 of the last lap by Chelsea Atkeson to take this feature win. Atkeson seemed to come out of nowhere to make that pass and take the victory. Awesome racing and these are our novice beginners.

IN the Novice Champ class, you must know the full story here. It seems that Colton Hill, who drives the #53 Novice Champ had a predicament to solve before he could race. He plays baseball, his dad coaches, and the game was in Collierville just an hour or so before his race start time. Colton and his dad went to Collierville, they won their game, he quickly returned to ARP and this young racer took his first ever feature win in our Novice Sportsman Champ class.

It was a determined win for J. L. Neisler in our Jr1 class as just a week ago his race team suffered a loss of their trailer and most of their tools and equipment, the only thing they managed to not have stolen, was their kart and J. L. had a mission and a goal this race and that was to show he could keep his head high and come back and he did with an awesome win once again.

Austin Orman drove a hard charging race to take the victory in Stock Light. Mitchell Bridges took TWO feature wins, one in Medium, and the other in Heavy. It was Wade Massey in Super Heavy, Justin carver in Animal Jr, Cody Caldwell in Junior-2, Roger Wilson took two checker flags in the Open Class and Over 35 class. Austin Billops took another victory in the largest field of Junior Unrestricted Champs we have had in a long time. It was Jacob Clements in the Rookie Sportsman class, and Justin Rochelle in the Purple Sportsman Champ class taking the wins. And Jeff Ragsdell in the Animal Heavy class, And Troy Dow in the Junior Animal Champ class doing some shake down runs in both these classes. You can bet the Animals are on their way soon in both these classes.

I hope I didn't leave any one out because this race was full of exciting close hard racing. It shows the talent is steadily growing in all the classes and once again the competition level is rising as well.
