139 Entries!!! It turned into a beautiful racing night after a wet morning but we had a lot of new faces once again and some great racing by all. Kenny Lovins returned to ARP and took the Survivor title in the Stock Light class. He also took the Medium title while at it. If you have been around racing in the last 10 years then you know Kenny, you know his ever awesome smile, and you know a good hearted racer who does all his talking on the track. Good to see ya again Kenny. And was that Ty Jones there too? I thought he had retired. Kenny and Ty finished one and two in the Light 40 lapper. Awesome racing thru the whole class. Directly above these words are two classes, Purple Sportsman Champs, and Novice Sportsman Champs, and the *champs* this evening in these classes are brother and sister, Matthew and Lindsey Prewitt. I may be wrong but the possibility of them running in the same class together is right around the corner when the younger Matthew moves into his sisters class. T his will be a family to watch out for , for sure!
Aerotec Race Bodies. They are one piece in construction, and as far as appearance goes, nothing can come close. I was very impressed at these new styles and you can see them at their web site at http://www.aerotecracebodies.com. You really need to go take a look for yourself. To all the racers, we say thanks for supporting ARP and racing with us. We invite all back to race with us as often as you can.
