139 Entries!!!! I can only smile through tears remembering little Griffin Warniment visiting our track back three years ago. Such a awesome bundle of energy, and yet so fragile. Who knew God had bigger plans for him? But Griffins memory lives on through all of our family of racers. Yes you read it right, $3000.00 raised this past weekend for St Jude, and it may still grow some more before we present the check to St Jude at the Firecracker Shootout at DACOSA on July 6th. All I can say is thanks to all the racers, teams and fans for your support to this very worthy cause. And anyone who still wishes to contribute before July 6th can do so by sending the donation to: Atoka Raceway Park Al Warniment and all his friends from Ohio that came down for this special race were honored with open arms from our racing community. I want to thank Al so very much for being a part of the Memphis Racers and we will always be supportive of his future efforts to help raise awareness to St Jude and all it does do for so many cancer patients. It was a great night of racing, we were finished by midnight, and we had the largest kart count so far this season. Not too bad at all!!
