It was hot, hot and then it got hotter, but the racing was as good as it gets.

New racers, some old faces we haven't seen in a while, and one family who showed their determination in the spotlight not once, not twice, but three times to the winners circle and with each trip the smiles got brighter and brighter.

If you click on this picture, you will meet Wade Massey, step son Clint Rhinehart and the whole Massey family, celebrating what had to be the highlight of the evening. It was Clint's first feature victory, and Dad's double win of the evening put the icing on the celebration cake for sure. Wade and his family are what we are all about at ARP. They radiate the family values we go after each week, and their hard work and determination paid off this race with the three wins and enough memories to last a life time. Congrats go out to the Massey family for this true special night I will never forget.

Also I need to mention a hard earned victory that was a long time coming in the Senior Champ Class. Congrats go out to the #1 of Keith Stephenson who had to have one of the biggest smiles of the evening after taking his victory lap in the Champ class.

A first time victory was had in the novice class by the #5ash Darren Fiveash.

And what about the double victory of Lee Thompson? It was good to see Lee again and he still is on top of his game for sure!!!

Speaking of Doubles, Justin Carver did it again.

I'll miss someone if I keep on so I will stop here but congrats go out to all our class winners and we do so much appreciate your support.

I want to spotlight one of my own personal favorites. Actually she is a lady who keeps me in line and is always there if and when I need her. She is an integral part of our operation at ARP and she has one of the most thankless jobs out there, she monitors the scales and impound area. Ms Edna I appreciate you so much for your dedication and support and for all you do for us, we thank you dearly!

The shot of the week captured by Rogers camera has to be this champ kart making an unscheduled meeting with the front guardrail.

Word is guardrail AND kart survived this meeting to meet yet another day.
