With 162 entries, the racing could not have been better, except for the humidity which set in as the heats started, giving us a slick track, which dropped the times slightly. We had few delays, and finished on time, and we appreciate all the racers and fans for your continued support. We had a great night of racing, and a double header in our Survivor Series in the Junior Sportsman Champ Class. Scott Tutor in the purple class, and Austin Billops in the aqua class gave us exciting racing in their 40 lap Survivor Series Features. Our Season is winding down but in a lot of our classes the points battles are gaining momentum. The remaining three races will be intense for the class championships. Three weeks in a row, Sept 21st, Sept 28th, and Oct 5th, will put the strain on racers and staff combined to close out the 2002 season with an awesome ending. The weather is cooling down, racing is heating up, and we invite everyone to be a part of our record setting 2002 final races. |
