121 Entries. It was dusty, very dusty!!

And then of course......

 

The night was cooler though, in fact the moisture came onto the track and made for a tricky surface. And along with the surface came some really hard and awesome racing.

This race had a lot of special meaning to it. Memories of lost friends and  part of our racing family. Of course we knew the significance of the weekend and that too was in the air. We had some survivors from hurricane Katrina joining us and that surely was very much appreciated. We do hope they had a good time.

It was great racing, we had two survivor races and Justin Rochelle took the Purple Champ victory, and an old familiar face returned, Darryl Dickerson driving a borrowed kart took the Over 35 victory, in an exciting and very full of contact race.

Reese Brewer in the Novice Champs took his first ever victory and he was surely grinning ear to ear over that victory.

It was B. J. Simmerman taking his first ever Atoka Victory in the Junior 1 class..

The intensity is growing as we near the completion of our 2005 season. The next three points races will be filled with excitement and high anxiety.

Check and see where your favorite driver did and do come out this coming week for the last points race in Sept.
