122 Entries!!! One More Points Race To GO!!!

It was a night of great racing, but it was still hot and humid. I don't think we will ever see fall racing in the cool weather. We will see what's in store for this coming week of the Tri-State Invitational.

We had some great racing for sure. I don't think there has been a more awesome race in a long time than that of the Aqua Champ's Survivor Race which except for one solitary caution went wire to wire with Tyler Smith in the #5s battling it out with Scott Hensley in the #5. After swapping the leads back and forth it was Smith who came out on top. I watched from the infield in awe of these two young racers who raced as hard as they could and yet their actions had so much finesse to them. It was the race of the afternoon for sure.

I didn't get to watch most of the races as once again I was roaming around the pits. But what I did see was great racing and for some reason a lot more contact racing than usual. Some of the shots will show it may not always be pretty but its exciting for sure; and sometimes heart stopping.
