What an awesome finish to a great season. I think you could call it a "record breaking" finish as we had 12 of the 15 available records fall including the track record. Congrats to Justin carver for setting our new track record.
Was it because of the daytime temperature? Was it because it was the last race and everyone was on top of their game? It was probably a combination of a lot of things but, it made for some awesome racing in all the classes.

We even had a visit from Spiderman's "spidet-in-training". He graciously took off his mask to let us all know how adorably cute a spider person can really be.
It could not have been a better scripted finish for our season. Awesome runs and all in all the race was fast paced and really exciting to see. We had some repeat winners, and some first time winners. We had a lot of drivers changing classes and preparing for the 2005 season. I cant wait to see how Atoka is represented at Tunica this year. We have such a talented group as we saw last year but even more talent is headed down there this season. Its going to be totally awesome to see our drivers go for the big prizes. I want to say thanks to everyone, who has supported us this season, and we hope you plan on being with us next year. But if not we do wish you the very best in your racing adventures. I want to say a very very special thanks to all our track staff. We will be going thru some personnel changes over the winter, and we shall miss those who are moving on very much. If it weren't for their hard work, none of this would have been possible. I guess it is called growth, and we all have to move on and go forward; and thats exactally what we have planned for the 2005 season. See y'all at the banquet -Danny |
