New guardrails, more track
surface, no hay bales, and the smoothest surface this track has ever seen made
for some of the most awesome racing ARP has ever had this early in the season.
Our Novice class had "19"
entries. There were "19" Junior Sportsman Champs. A total of "33" Champs all
together tells us something about the growing concern for safety in our
racers.
We had numerous new comers to
ARP and a lot of returning vets to our track. With the exception of one
incident, a great night was had by most all who helped us kick off our 2002
points season, and our first Survivor Series Race.
We thank all the racers and
race fans for coming out and supporting ARP.
