April 22th Results

Dry conditions, and a wet track deep, made for some very fast, and very tight racing, for our 100 entries. There was black rubber 360 degrees around the track.  This was definitely a dry slick set up.  Some racers told me that they have never seen the track that consistent in both turns and both straight-aways. This night was filled with close and exciting racing, both for the racers and race fans.

We had a crash in our Junior Novice Race involving Garrett Carroll. He took quite a spill coming out of turn 4, but he got up and dusted himself off and after the EMT's said he was ok, wanted to get back in the kart. 

And after the race, he decided to take on an Ice Cream Sandwich. I don't know about some race fans, but this young man, to me, represents, our future in racing. His courage, and dedication, makes going out to the track a wonderful experience. You just see where the priorities really are when you see a future racer like Garrett Carroll.  

Congrats to Brad Gustavus in the Junior 1 class for winning his very first feature race.  

We had a great spectator turnout also, thanks go out to everyone who came out and supported us.

And of course we must not forget our future track owners
