128 this time!
Awesome, and thanks to all who came out!!!

I want to first apologize for a major problem I have to announce. My digital camera malfunctioned for the last time I think. None of the pics came out, and I suspect the demon is the dust and dirt over the last two seasons. I will try and secure another camera before this next race and any of the winners on this day can have their pictures re-taken and I will place them here on this page after the next race. Once again I am sorry for this happening, when it rains it pours sometimes.

But the night of racing was good. It was on the cooler side with a lot less humidity, and the track was very fast. With 128 entries, we still got out just after midnight, and had some awesome racing in all classes.

You always hear that the *locals* always seem to win, but the Junior 3 race proved that statement in error. Coming from Beebe Arkansas, not too far from Searcy, was the Jones family, and driving the #66 kart, was Jordan Jones, who went out on the track and dominated the surface like a regular racer at ARP. Jordan drove a smooth line and went on to victory holding off a determined Garrett Mack for the victory. The junior 3 class is full of intensity and emotion most every race, and it is always one you look for the unexpected, and tonight, it was clean racing, close racing, good sportsmanship, both on and off the track, and just a good feeling in general watching these young racers doing their thing on our track. Awesome, simply awesome.!!!!

Our Survivor Series race was the Mods/Limiteds/Opens. You knew before hand that this would be a great race, lots of competition, lots of anticipation, and lots of adrenaline flowing. Joey Henderson took the well earned victory, but he had stiff competition from the next three karts as they were never more than a kart length behind. Garrett Gray held second until the last lap when Enik Sanders passed him for the second spot, but up until then Garrett made several attempts to pas Henderson but just could not make it stick. This racing was so close and tight and very very clean. Curt Terrell drove a close 4th and all four of them stayed bumper to bumper for the last half of this 40 lap Survivor Series Race. Henderson survived it, but the whole class deserves a tip of the hat as they put on one super show for every one in attendance.

Speaking of attendance, I want to personally thank everyone who came out to race and watch some great races this night. I Know we had racers from Heber Springs Arkansas, Beebe Arkansas, Jackson Tennessee, Tupelo Ms, Milan Tn, Selmer Tn, Hayti Mo, Halls Tn, and I know I missed others, but it just goes to show our "family" continues to grow with each race and we do appreciate everyone who comes out to race with us, if its just one time, or the whole season, your support is greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks everyone for your continued support!!!!

Hard Charger Award

We are going to give out a hard charger award each week to a driver who shows determination and sportsmanship. This will most likely be a racer who strives to do his best. I have a winner this week, but we wont announce it until our next race. His or her picture will be placed here then.
