First off, I want to thank all the
new racers we had this past race. I know I will leave off one of I start
naming them burt5 we had new faces locally and from out of town. I know some were from middle Mississippi and I want to say once again thanks for making the trip north to visit us and we do hope you find time to return again one day. We appreciate you all racing with us for sure!!! The everyday rain of last week gave us some major concerns about the track condition. The rain changed totally how we prepare the track and the days we prepare it on. Many of you know what the surface looked like before practice. Lot of cracks in it and tho I was worried, my track dude Jason said not to worry and I didn't and after a round of practice it came in nicely and for a green track was awesome to be sure. How about the NO CAUTION 40 lapper? Congrats go to three feature winner Josh Boaz for taking the 40 lap victory as one of his 3 wins for the night. And the purple champs race outcome as the finish had to be verified by computer scoring as so many crossed the line so close together, awesome finish. I know we had mechanical pump a round problems, and I will rebuild it by next race. There were the normal few problems on the track , but all in all it was a good night of racing and we were thru by 11:30 and with 133 entries, not too bad huh? We are going to have a few new safety checks at Safety Tech next race, but none of them should be any problems if everyone is complying with the rules and basic safety precautions. I see some areas that need looking into and that's exactly what I plan on doing during the next few days. I am also concerned about something but here is not the place to mention it. I plan on making a post on our message board in the next day or so concerning this, and tho it is mainly an editorial piece by me and my opinion on the matter, it is something I will address more in-depth at our next race.
