Junior Champs: Beau Browning

Beau Browning led the field around to take the checkered flag to win the Junior Champ class. Jake Tucker was just a half a second behind him and this was a great race. Congrats go out to Beau and his crew for this win.!!

Stock Heavy: Enik Sanders

When you talk about Kart racing in the mid-south, if you have been around a while then you know about the legacy of Enik Sanders and his family name. Tonight it was Enik who brought home the victory. Congrats go out to Enik and his crew for this win!!

Junior 3: Mark Pasino

He qualified #1 by .008 of a second. I don't think you can blink your eye that quickly. But Mark Pasino, driving the #3M,  went on to win by just over 3 1/2 seconds over newcomer to this class Phillip Higgs. A note about Phillip Higgs; he is racing in our Junior 2 class this season for points, but his eligibility was as such he wanted to try the unrestricted class. Not a bad first outing to be sure, qualifying 1/10th off the pole. Way to go Phillip, and way to go to this entire class of our unrestricted juniors.

But the win and the victory went to Mark Pasino, and a very awesome win it was. Congrats go out to Mark and his family, sponsors and crew for this win!! 

Senior Champs: Keith Stephenson

A heck of a way to make your racing debut in a new class, but that's exactly what Keith Stephenson did tonight in the Senior Champ race. Keith has raced witht us in the open karts, but tonight he switched into his new champ kart and proved he had what it took to take the victory.

Congrats go out to Keith and his crew for this win!!

Senior Stock Over 35: Roger Wilson

I will just let th epics do the talking here as Roger Wilson took the honors in the Over 35 race tonight. This was Roger's second race of the night finishing third in the Stock Heavy race earlier and after 100 laps his victory here was just as sweet as can be.

Congrats go out to Roger, his sponsors and his family and crew for this win!!

This was the second in our Classic Series Races. 2003 is the Inaugural year for this series, but the format looks very promising, and it is a crowd favorite, and the racers seem to enjoy the flow of events.

We think next year we will secure more sponsors, to increase the kart count, and have full fields to do their adjustments at half time where all the race fans can watch as they try and tune up for the last 25 laps.

We thank all who came out and we look forward to the Fall Classic in early October.
