Novice Junior

 I think its called "Half Way Through"?????

We are exactly half way through the points season and it seems to be as if we were in our last race or two as far as the level of intensity goes.....

I didn't get to see most of the feature races. I don't like that situation, but you have to do what you have to do. So me doing any commentary on a specific race is not right for me to do. SO I want to comment on what I did see and what I see from the results.

First thing I see, Justin Rochelle won TWO events, including the Survivor Series race in Rookie Sportsman Class. Awesome job Justin and crew!!

I also see a new name in the top 5 of the Purple Champs, Ryan Wescott. Ryan is a friend of mine and I am really proud of him and his effort, as I am all the racers.

A familiar name back in the winners circle, Scott Hensley who took the Aqua Sportsman Champ victory. This was a wild and confusing at times, and not so pretty at times race, but that doesnt take away the congrats to Scott for this victory.

Austin Billops returned to the winner circle in Junior Champs, and I noticed Alan Bunn took second. Alan has been practicing a lot of times if and when we get a practice session in and he has really worked hard this season and it is showing with good results.

Wade Massey got revenge for a blown up motor the last time he was close to a victory with a win in the Over 35 class.

Two in a row for Mark Pasino, Justin Carver, Mitchell Bridges; three in a row for Roger Wilson,  Kevin Fike and Justin Rochelle; four in a row for Tyler Smith and five in a row for Jason Moss. Awesome racing everyone Awesome racing!!

I would like to share with you a few pics from the other night. Perhaps to spotlight what some of us do this for???

You don't have to look too far for the smiles that are out there and you don't have to look to deep to understand why the smiles are there. An example: Colin Stephenson and Greg  Boggan in a candid shot!

 

I think its sad that some people seem to have lost the ability to smile and just be friends again.
