It was the rainout that never happened. All day we were threatened by rain and we did have about a 5 minute delay before the Junior 3 Feature, but we held out and the rain held off and we had a very muggy but exciting night of racing. The High humidity held down the dust and all in all it was a great night of close racing.

We had some first time winners as Tyler Ortiz took his first feature win at ARP in out Novice "A" feature, and in her first race, Amber Rudd came in a very respectable second place in that same feature.  Derek Medlock took a feature win in his first outing in the Purple Division of our Junior Sportsman Champs, and Gary Boggan took his first feature win in a Sportsman Champ in the Aqua Class. Shane Hardin took his first feature win of the 2001 season in our Super Heavy Class.

In Junior 2 it was Scott Parker, in his first feature win at ARP.

Repeat winners were Will Holder, Paden Gray, Phillip Higgs, Jake Tucker, Joey Henderson, Ty Jones, Jason Moss, And Dan Gairhan. Dan Gairhan drove to victory in our Survivor Series Race in the Senior Stock Over 35 class.

Thanks everyone for supporting us thus far in 2001.
See ya all next race!...Danny

Hard Charger Award

We are going to give out a hard charger award each week to a driver who shows determination and sportsmanship. This will most likely be a racer who strives to do his best. I have a winner this week, but we wont announce it until our next race. His or her picture will be placed here then.
