September 2 Results

What a night for racing. We had once again a very dry black surface to work with. The racers said the track speeds were just a bit slower than last week but the racing was second to none. All the races were close and very competitive.

Our Survivor Series race featured the Champ Class. Leading from Green to Checker was Jason Moss driving the #73 Champ Kart. Jason held off a charging Richard Henson to take the 40 lap victory. This was the first of our survivor series race that went caution free. Atoka racers really like the 40 lap format, and provides good racing for drivers and fans alike. 
Congrats to Jason Moss and his Survivor series victory!

Repeat winner Keith Ainsworth took his second victory in a row in the A Main in the novice class. 
It was Jordan Meyers, taking his first victory in the B Main in the novice group.

It was Garry Boggan taking the victory once again in the Junior 1 Class. 
And taking his first win of this year was Ricky Stenhouse driving the #06 in the Junior 2 Class. 
Mitchell Bridges made it two in a row taking the checkered in the Junior Stock Class.
It was Jeff Howell claiming the victory again in the Stock Light Class. 
It was Billy Butler driving the 17P entry winning his first feature in the Stock Medium Class. 
It was a hat trick for Justin Pierce as he took his third straight victory in the Stock Heavy Class. 
Jeff Ragsdell dominated the Over 35 Class, and it was two in a row for Joe Baker in the Modified Class

On a side note it was the 43 Jeff McWilliams who just this week moved up to the Junior 2 class from the Novice Class, and in his first race as a Junior 2 he finished a very respectable 3rd. Way to go Jeff!! 

Once again we had new faces and great times at the track. To all the racers who were there we thank you so much and hope you will return again to race at Atoka.
