Just a few notes on the results......

How about that Tyler Smith??? Won the Purple Sportsman Champ Race AND the Survivor Series Race in Junior 1. Is that not awesome??? Way to go Tyler!!!!!!!!
((((personal note to Tyler....sorry I misplaced your name dude....I have no idea where my mistake came from...age most likely, but we are really proud of you for your accomplishments!!!))))

Justin Rochelle was a first time winner!!!!

What about Junior 2???....you can check out the times but all but one was in the 11's ((11.69 or better)) and track records were set and broken with each passing lap....and who is that *speed rat* kid???...an 11.445?????? and not that far behind was David Davidson, with an 11.451????. I was fortunate enough to be hiding, I mean observing,  in the tower during this race, and I was as awestruck and Momma "speed rat" was watching the numbers flow across the scoring screen. Will Holder you did good!!!

Jr 1's in the 11's???? Yep, ask Cody Burks, and Brandon Moore!!!

In Jr 3, Brent Rowell held off Mark Pasino with an 11.513 to an 11.530!!

Josh Boaz won two features, and other winners were Gavin Bishop, Joey Lunati, Jeff Ragsdell, Kody Mea, Jake Tucker, Keith Benson, Keith Stephenson, and Mitchell Bridges!!

Awesome???

Yea..........but....

Why events and moments like these have to be overshadowed by unnecessary dark moments is totally beyond my meager understanding.

A few words concerning the *other* happenings......

I am having a hard time coming up with words to describe the nights three ring circus atmosphere concerning some so called responsible adults......Is it the intensity of points racing? Is it that the competition has risen to a level that is out of control? Have we built a beast that we cant control?

I think the problem still is in accepting responsibility for one's actions, and the effects and results of those actions. Look at the pictures above and tell me if what a few individuals did was worth losing those smiles and dreams. Tell me that it's ok to use the worst verbal language imaginable, and to act a fool in front of those faces above, and expect them to think of us as responsible adults.

The pictures above are what we are out there striving towards our goals, as officials of ARP. The pictures above are what we write our rules around and giving us the passion we use to enforce them . It is where a lot of US started out, or at least watched our kids start out and we are not going to give up control of ARP to blatant disregard of established rules governing our facility.

If you think kart count is what is important to us you are sadly and very disturbingly mistaken. Do you really think flashing dollars in our faces and threatening boycotts, means a whole lot to people who do this for less money than it takes to get to the facility week in and week out?  Fifty smiling faces like the above pictures, is a hell of lot more important to us, than 75 more who want to cuss, argue and make things miserable for everyone in attendance. It's not about numbers, its about attitudes, and immature adults with those attitudes.

What is important to us grows in the pictures above, and is growing in the faces not yet old enough to be a part of those reflections. That dedication is something you can count on  and you can count on that being our priority for years to come. Be a part of it if you want, AND IF YOU CAN, but if you don't want to share the responsibility of doing right by the young racers, then we all suggest you find another facility to toss your circus like temper at.

We stand behind two groups at ARP; we stand behind the kids and the ones who stand with them in shared ideas of true sportsmanship, and we stand behind our track officials 100%, and we do this, 100% of the time.

Deal with it, or be dealt out!!!!
