~Race Format~

Two practice sessions.

Two Qualifying Rounds. ((We will only start top 16))

First Round will determine the top 6 places in the feature.

Second Round will determine the next 6 spots in the feature.

An 8 lap Consi will determine the remaining spots if necessary.

Two 25 lap segments. (20 min time limit per round) (two 20 lap segments for Rookie Sportsman, and Junior Sportsman Champ Purple)

10 minute infield pit stop between Segments. (Strictly Timed)

Adult classes, kart, driver and one extra person allowed during the pit stop. Junior classes, kart, driver and two extra people during the pit stop.

Minor chassis adjustments to kart and you may change carb jet or engine spark plug; basically whatever you can do in 10 minutes. You may NOT go back to your pit to get anything additional. So if you think you'll need it, then bring it with you to the infield. You may NOT change air filters. We may allow changing of the filter sock. One extra set of tires are allowed, but no more. You may clean your tires and add prep, but no buckets of water allowed. Keep cleaning solutions in spray bottles if possible.  Kart team will bring a gallon jug containing as much fuel as you THINK you will need to be pumped thru pump around and this will be your fuel for the full  race. Jug is to have your Kart Entry Number labeled on the jug. No additional fuel will be available after the initial pumping. Jugs will be stored in a safe place by track personnel until the 10 minute pit stop.

Leader of first segment, has the Option to toss a single dice. Choosing this option will allow that driver only to receive an extra $50 if he/she should win the second segment. If he/she chooses this option, the dice is thrown and which ever number comes up will be his/her starting place for the second segment. He/She will start no worse than sixth and if he/she wins, he/she will get an extra $50 dollars.

**These two classes were invited back for the Fall Classic. Stock Light had the most entries of all the classes. Since we have no Junior Animals, we have omitted that class and invited back Junior 1. There was a tie between Junior 1, Junior 3 and Junior Champ as to who had the most entries. We then went to which class finished segment two with the most karts running and it was Junior 1. So Junior 1 and Stock light have been invited back for the Fall show.
